Review

Well, I said I wanted light and fluffy, and that's exactly what I got. Part of the problem was the main character of Cora. For most of the first part of the novel, and a good chunk of the second, she is a reasonably likeable character. But then, she becomes irritating and I lost any sympathy I had built up from the preceding chapters. The real downside is part 3 of the novel. It plays out like the last episode of a 1980's mini-series. I'm surprised the entire novel wasn't written in flashback.
